     My name is Dana Fragomeni, and I am a Museum Professional, an amature Watercolour Artists, self-published fictional author, and soon to be photographic genius.  But, I need your help!

     As a patron of the ‘arts,’ I am enthralled by all forms of artistic expression and outlet.  However, there is one form of art that I have yet to dabble in – and that is, photography!  

     What is the difference between point and click cameras, and the more expensive DSLR cameras?  How do DSLR cameras function?  And, in what ways can the 'photographic image' be used to develop artistic outlets?  Can participating in photographic art, translate into and improve one’s skills in other areas of art, such as sketching, drawing and painting?

      As you can see, I have many questions, and very few answers.  Yet, like in beginning any new artistic pursuit, that is precisely where one begins – the question and testing stage.  As I move through these stages in my artistic journey of applying to and dabbling in the ‘Art of Photography,’ I encourage everyone to follow along with me, and if possible to share photo’s, tips, techniques and insight.  

     So with no further ado, let’s strap on our camera’s and get to clicking!!  

     And please, ladies and gentlemen, feel free to share your comments and concerns at any time – this is what will make my journey – and hopefully yours too – all the more enjoyable!!
